Press Conference at Kolhapur

The month of October has been very happening for the Maharashtra state with reference to changed political equations, the elections, and the election results. Finally, on the 24th October election result has been declared and people have given a clear mandate to the BJP- Shiv Sena alliance. With 163 seats BJP- Shiv Sena alliance has been successful to secure a majority in the assembly election. Now the most discussed topic is how the government will be established and what will be the terms and conditions while setting-up the government in the state.

Although, the BJP has secured 100+ seats in Assembly election they need the support of Shiv Sena for the power. Earlier there has been a discussion between Shiv Sena President Mr Uddhav Thackrey, National Home Minister Mr Amit Shah and Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis regarding seat allocation and further strategy. It is expected that as per the discussion held between the trios, the new political equations will be derived. However, many gossips and discussions are going on regarding the State Government changes in the state. BJP Maharashtra Chief and Kothrud MLA Honourable Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil recently clarified on this matter and tried to put a full stop on this type of gossip.

Recently, Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil attended a press conference at Kolhapur. During this press conference, he clarified that the new government will be established by BJP- Shiv Sena and other friend parties only and there is no other possibility with reference to the government formation. Mr Patil also accepted that BJP suffered many losses due to the rebels and he also blamed Shiv Sena for this. During this press conference, Mr Patil also criticised Shiv Sena leader Mr Sanjay Raut for his irresponsible statements. Mr Patil further said that we have to accept people with their faults and tendencies.

When Shri Patil was asked about the failure of Shiv-Sena in Kolhapur district he said that Shiv Sena itself is responsible for this condition. He also expressed his disappointment regarding local leaders of Shiv Sena who conducted the meetings to oppose BJP in Kolhapur district. Additionally, Mr Patil also expressed his disappointment with the voters. He presented different questions to people of Kolhapur such as how come people of Kolhapur elected the party that opposed development initiatives and applied LBT taxes. Further, he added that people had chosen the party that prefers to shut down the airport and does not work for the betterment of the city.

While many discussions are going on regarding the new power equations in Maharashtra state Honourable Shri Chandrakant Patil has clearly indicated that the new government will be set by BJP-Shiv Sena and other supporting parties only. In the current situation, Mr Patil’s statement is very significant and contextual. Within one-week, the power equations will be clear in Maharashtra and hopefully, the new inning on BJP and Shiv-Sena will be kicked-off.
