Reaction on Jammu-Kashmir Decisions
On 5th August 2019, revoking of article 370 and 35-A decisions were finalized in the parliament. With this decision, it is also approved that J&K state will be divided into two separate union territories, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. Continuous 8 hours parliament session succeeded in concluding two major and historic decisions with respect to Jammu-Kashmir. The scrapping of article 370 and 35 A was one of the most significant promises made by the BJP during the national election campaign. Honourable Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi Ji and Home Minister, Mr Amit Shah have been able to meet their promise yesterday. Surprisingly, the decision is also supported by several other parties, including Aam Aadmi Party and Telugu Desam Party by considering the country’s betterment paramount.
