Participation in RSS Dussehra And Shastra Pujan Function

On 21st October, the Maharashtra state elections are set to commence. Therefore, all the political leaders and parties are currently busy in the publicity, public relations, meetings, and election campaign work. The BJP, which happens to be the strongest party of the state, has engaged its leaders in different election campaign activities, public relations and meetings. Senior BJP leader Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil has received an opportunity to contest through the Kothrud-Pune constituency in this election. Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil was recently seen at the Dussehra function organized by the RSS and that too in the latter’s uniform. It was an absolute sight to behold to see Mr Dada Patil in the RSS uniform. His pleasant presence and the RSS uniform has been the main topic of appreciation during this entire event.

Meanwhile, Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil is concentrating on the Kothrud Pune area as he is the candidate chosen by the BJP-Shivsena alliance for the said constituency. Recently, Mr Chandrakant Patil was seen in the weapon (Shastra) Puja programme organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh-Sambhaji region. Shastra Puja ceremony has its connection with Indian traditions and mythology. During Navaratri Navami, Shastra Pujan is performed, wherein weapons are worshipped by people. The BJP Chief of Maharashtra and candidate of Kothrud constituency Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil attended this event in an RSS uniform and followed the tradition of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh by participating in Shastra Pujan and RSS Sanchalan. 

During this Dussehra function of RSS, the Chief Guests present were- RSS Akhil Bhartiya Samrasata Gatividhi Mandal Member Mr Ramesh Aadhav, Mr Ramesh Pandav, Mr Sudhir Javadekar and the members of Sambhaji Region RSS. 

Mr Chandrakant Patil's presence showcased how disciplined and experienced a member of the RSS he is. He is the official candidate of the Kothrud Pune constituency, which is recognised by the majority of the Brahmin population. 

Shri Patil has been recognised by all as an experienced, honest and disciplined activist of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party. This example further demonstrates the connection between the RSS and Mr Patil. The event was organised at MIT institute’s ground. In this event, Shri Dada Patil participated just as other disciplined ordinary activists of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. His skills, discipline, and experience completely stunned all onlookers. Shri Patil has been an active member of the RSS since the last three decades and it was one of the major turning points in his life.  

Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil’s appearance in Vijaya Dashmi and Shastra Pujan's function of RSS was highly appreciable and it also got noticed by the media. His entry in the RSS uniform was a surprise package for all. This type of participation of political leaders in RSS is highly inspiring to the youth and it can define new viewpoints and guide their thought process accordingly.
