Kranti Garden Launch Event - Chandrakant Patil
The Guardian Minister of Kolhapur
district- Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil- always engages himself in
different initiatives and programmes for the betterment of Kolhapur district.
Recently, he attended an event to pay tribute to the historical legend-
Chhatrapati Cheema Saheb Maharaj and the public launch of Kranti Garden at
Kolhapur. During this event, Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil said that the
inspiring history of this legendary personality should reach the masses far and
wide, through literature.
The event was organised to pay
tribute to Chhatrapati Cheema Saheb Maharaj and the public launch of Kranti
Garden. During this event, Mr
Chandrakant Dada Patil said that the history of Chhatrapati Cheema Saheb
Maharaj is truly inspiring and that the Kranti Garden will help it reach the
masses. Honourable Revenue Minister, Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil further said
that he will discuss with the Education Minister and try to include the history
of Chhatrapati Cheema Saheb Maharaj in the academic history books in
schools. It will be motivational for the youth and students of the younger
generation.
The Honourable Revenue Minister, Mr Chandrakant
Dada Patil was highly privileged to be a part of the public launch event of the
Kranti garden. MLA- Mr Amal Mahadik was the president of the said function. The
programme was organised collaboratively by the Krantiveer Chhatrapati Chima
Saheb Maharaj Mandal, KSBP, citizen forum, and the Akbar Mohalla Samajik
Mandal.
Honourable Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil
appreciated KSBP for their initiatives of developing gardens in various
colonies throughout Kolhapur city. He also appreciated KSBP for their social
initiatives instead of the politics and criticism they faced by others. The
honourable Guardian Minister informed people about an upcoming event which was
going to be a day’s tour for a group of 8-15 year old children, to cover
off-beat locations in Kolhapur district. He further informed that the
‘Aadvatevarch Kolhapur’ project is successful and it helped a lot with tourism
development in the district.
The programme was hosted by Mr
Vaibhavraj Bhosale and Mr Prasad Jadhav. Other delegates present at the event
were- MLA Mr Amal Mahadik, Mr Mahesh Jadhav, Mr Ashish Dhavale, Dr Yogesh
Jadhav, Smt Mahejbeen Subhedar, Adv Mr Prashant Shinde, Mr Sandeep Jadhav,
etc.
Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil’s
engagement in different events and programmes is truly inspiring. The Kranti
Garden launch is a truly motivational event for the new generation; since this
garden will be informative to them with reference to the history of the
legendary Chatrapathi Cheema Saheb Maharaj. The Guardian Minister of the
Kolhapur district, Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil participated in the event and also
appreciated and motivated the organisers for such an innovative initiative. He
is well-aware of the fact that this type of appreciation is necessary to
undertake and complete a social project like this one. Mr Chandrakant Dada
Patil’s assurance to include the history in academic books also demonstrates
his awareness and care about the youth today. Kolhapur district has been one of
the few fortunate ones to be lead by such a great leader and visionary.
