Experimental And Innovative Revenue Minister Of Maharashtra



In 2014, the BJP Government was established in Maharashtra state and significant pillar in BJP Maharashtra, Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil successfully handled the responsibility of Revenue department along with other departments in the state cabinet. His tenure as Maharashtra’s Revenue Minister has been remarkable with innovative decisions and its successful implementation in the history of Maharashtra. It would not be wrong if someone concludes that Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil has been the most experimental and successful Revenue Minister of Maharashtra. Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil’s Revenue Minister Tenure will be remembered forever for various effectual decisions and its successful implementation.

Since State elections are coming soon, Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil is engaged in the election campaign. In spite of his busy schedule, he has posted one video on his official Twitter handle to inform about the glorious and experimental term of the Revenue department for the last 5 years.
In this video, Mr Patil has notified that the State Revenue Department has taken significant decisions with reference to the revenue department services. This Department has taken significant decisions which are in line with the plan of Digital Maharashtra. Most importantly, out of 48 services, 16 services are digitised for the convenience of people which helped them a lot. The most remarkable achievement of the Revenue Minister is the implementation of a digitised system for 7 /12 extract along with a digital signature to prove its authenticity. The system has reduced a load from farmers and rural people to visit the government offices for 7/12 extract request and its further processing. It's highly pleasant and convenient that 7/12 extract will be available at home with an online request.

Being Revenue Minister of Maharashtra Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil took significant decisions to use drone cameras for land survey and mapping purposes. Mr Chandrakant Patil’s Revenue Minister Term is also marked with GIS-based observation and mapping of the land for Gaothan. Property card will also be prepared using the GIS system for the Gaothan property. This decision will help protect government land properties by fixing its boundaries. Firstly, it will help for the exact mapping of the land and preparation of the property card accordingly. Secondly, it will also define the exact locations of the town roads, water bodies, the government reserved landscapes and it will help to prevent the encroachment of the government properties. Thereafter, this process will simplify and help in the process of taxing, construction permissions, avoidance of encroachment. Finally, as plot maps will be available at ease, the process of home loan acquisition will be simplified. This can improve the financial and industrial importance of the town or village. It will also be useful to resolve conflicts related to land ownership.

Maharashtra State Revenue department has implemented innovative and scientific practices for the digital transformation of the Revenue department. It includes online property card, use of GIS system for the examination and mapping of the land, use of drone camera for the land examination purpose. Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil is concluding his glorious five-year term as Revenue Minister of Maharashtra with innovative, technical and significant decisions in the history of Revenue department. Along with technical aspects and innovation, he has also processed the demands of Revenue department staff. In this way, he has handled the department brilliantly and it can be expected that he gets more opportunities alongside more responsibility during the upcoming election.
