Appeal To Celebrate Ganesh Festival In Peaceful And Simple Ways
Guardian Minister of Kolhapur
district Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil attended an award distribution
ceremony organised by Kolhapur Police at Keshavrao Bhosale Auditorium,
Kolhapur. During this function Revenue Minister Honourable, Chandrakant Dada
Patil requested people to restore the glory of Kolhapur again with
collaborative work to help the flood-affected people. The event was also
attended by Shrimant Shahu Maharaj Chhatrapati, MP Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati,
western Maharashtra Pilgrimage Committee President Mr Mahesh Jadhav, District
Collector Mr Daulat Desai and Police Department’s Dr Abhinav Deshmukh.

utilised this platform to interact with people and convey his message to the
society. Due to this natural calamity, Kolhapur city and vicinity areas were
badly affected in this monsoon season. During this situation, administration,
government, self-serving organisations, social workers, different clubs
contributed massively for relief measures and rescue operations. Honourable
Shri Chandrakant Patil thanked all these stakeholders for their active
participation in flood relief measures and their efforts to normalise the
conditions in Kolhapur. Mr Patil has also pleaded to people to restore the
glory of the city. He assured that the government is committed to serving the
flood-affected people, but along with this he also appealed to different Ganesh
Festival Clubs to participate in this process.
Mr Chandrakant Patil further appealed
to people to celebrate the Ganesh Festival in simple and peaceful ways. He also
appealed Ganesh Festival clubs to help flood-affected people, to raise funds
for flood-affected people, and to generate wealth opportunities for the flood
victims. Further, he assured that Ganaraya Award Distribution will be conducted
immediately after the Ganesh festival and its price amount will also be
increased.
Maharashtra BJP Chief Honourable
Chandrakant Patil tried to relieve flood affected people through his speech. He
assured that the Government is committed to supporting flood victims and
necessary help will be provided to them. He also added that the State
Government has decided to avail employment opportunities to the agricultural
labourer. For this purpose, different projects will be initiated in the
villages under the Employment Guarantee Scheme.
During this function Member of
Parliament, Honourable Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati appreciated different
stakeholders by saying that they have set an example in Kolhapur flood
conditions for relief activities. He also added that there should be an
implementation of the master plan for faster help and rehabilitation
work.
Kolhapur and Sangli districts were
badly affected due to flood conditions in this monsoon season. Government,
army, police, railway, social organisations, NDRF, and many other stakeholders
actively participated for help and rehabilitation tasks. Honourable Guardian
Minister of Kolhapur district Mr Chandrakant Patil well played his role as a
leader in this tough situation and to normalise the conditions in flood-hit
areas. Shri Chandrakant Dada Patil has also appealed to people and Ganesh
Festival Clubs to celebrate the upcoming Ganesh festival peacefully and in
simple ways. This decision can help primarily to save the budget for
rehabilitation work for the flood-affected people. Let's wish that people of
Kolhapur and vicinity areas understand the importance of this decision and
implement it with a peaceful and simple celebration of the Ganesh festival this
year.
