A Plan to Set Up 60 New Hospitals
‘Vandaniy Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla
Dawakhana Scheme’ has been active in the state and 60 new hospitals will be set
up in the state through this scheme. These hospitals are specifically
established to serve rural areas in the state which will offer quality health
services to the rural people. Recently, one service hospital was inaugurated at
Kasaba-Bawada, Kolhapur under this scheme. The event was graced by Health
Minister Honourable Mr Eknath Shinde and Guardian Minister of Kolhapur district
Honourable Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil. During this event, Revenue Minister Shri
Chandrakant Dada Patil explained the significance of this State Government
scheme.
The event was organised to inaugurate
the new hospital at Kasba Bawada, Kolhapur under the ‘Vandaniy Balasaheb
Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana’ scheme. The hospital is supposed to provide
quality health services to the people in proximity. This hospital is a 50 beds
hospital. During the inaugural ceremony, Revenue Minister Mr Chandrakant Dada
Patil said that Honourable Chief Minister has raised Social Corporate
Responsibility (CSR) funds up to Rs 1100 Crores for health services. In fact,
trauma centre employee’s salaries are also getting paid through CSR funds at
CPR. Mr Patil also promised that the government will try to well equip this
service hospital with lift and other necessary furniture in order to provide
adequate ultra-modern health facilities to the patients.
Health Minister Shri Eknath Shinde
said that ‘Vandaniy Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana Scheme’ has been
operative to strengthen the health facilities in the state. The next plan is to
start a new 60 hospitals in the state out of which many hospitals will provide
the health facilities to the rural people.
Health Minister, Mr Eknath Shinde also appreciated Honourable
Revenue Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil during this event. Mr Shinde said that
Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil’s work style is excellent; he always replies
positively to the MLAs requests. Mr Patil has provided adequate funds for
different works, including roads and other facilities. He also added that MLA
Mr Rajesh Kshirsagar also appreciated Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil for his work
efficiency.
During this event, MLA Mr Rajesh
Kshirsagar reviewed health facilities and systems in Kolhapur city. The
inaugural event was also attended by District Collector Mr Daulat Desai,
Residential Deputy District Collector Mr Sanjay Shinde, MLA Mr Sujit Minchekar,
Hospital Medical Officer Superintendent Dr Umesh Kadam, Additional Director Dr
Satish Pawar, and MP Mr Dhairyasheel Mane.
The State Government has started an
innovative initiative through ‘Vandaniy Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana’
scheme. This scheme will be highly beneficial to the rural public since it will
provide adequate health facilities to the rural people in cost-effective ways.
Being Guardian Minister of Kolhapur district Honourable Chandrakant Dada Patil
reinforces different development initiatives in Kolhapur and vicinity areas.
During this event, Chandrakant Dada Patil also showcased his presence of mind
and general awareness by cross-questioning about the various further costs.
This type of presence of mind and general awareness is rarely observed in

ultra-modern health facilities.
